Our service is built around the details that matter to a passenger’s journey: the appointment arrival time, the assistance needed at both addresses and the plan for returning home. A caregiver, relative or facility coordinator can help arrange the trip.

AmeriCare provides non-emergency transportation in Southern Maryland, including Charles, St. Mary’s and Calvert counties. We help passengers, families and facilities arrange travel to medical appointments, hospital discharge destinations and other planned outings.

Transportation for your needs

We offer door-to-door and door-through-door service, including assistance from the passenger’s door to the vehicle. A caregiver or family member can ride along; mention companion seating when booking.

Explore standard wheelchair transportation, ambulatory transportation and wait-and-return service. Each request is reviewed for vehicle availability, access needs and scheduling before confirmation.

AmeriCare is licensed to operate within the state of Maryland. Each of our drivers is trained and certified in CPR and First Aid. Transportation is available by confirmed booking, with advance booking recommended.
