ABOUT AMERICARE
Transportation starts with understanding the passenger
For passengers and caregivers, the important questions are practical: how will pickup work, what assistance is available, and how will the passenger get home? AmeriCare brings these details into the booking conversation.
AmeriCare Medical Transport & Logistics focuses on arranging non-emergency rides for passengers, families and facilities in Southern Maryland.
The right trip details
Describe the support needed at both addresses. Door-to-door and door-through-door service, companion seating and return arrangements should be discussed before the journey.
Mobility needs, access conditions and appointment timing belong in the same conversation.
Clear confirmation
Availability, pricing and service arrangements are confirmed before a request becomes a booking.
Return planning
One-way, round-trip and waiting arrangements are discussed before travel.
Maryland licensing and driver training
AmeriCare is licensed to operate within the state of Maryland. Each of our drivers is trained and certified in CPR and First Aid.
We offer door-to-door and door-through-door service, including assistance from the passenger’s door to the vehicle. A caregiver or family member can ride along; let us know when booking so we can arrange seating.
A practical partner for families and facilities
A relative can coordinate transportation for a loved one, while facility staff can discuss discharge trips or recurring appointments. Identify a main contact so questions about scheduling, price and passenger readiness reach the right person.
Let’s plan your next ride
Transportation is available by confirmed booking. Book in advance when possible, or call to discuss a same-day request. We accept all major credit cards and cash and do not accept insurance or Medicaid.
Tell us where you’re going, when you need to travel and what assistance you need. AmeriCare will confirm availability, the fare and pickup details before your trip.
